I think that yes her story was heartbreaking but she has to remember the differences between her story and Bella's... Rosalie's life was taken from her without a choice and she was happy in her life but Bella has a choice and for her to be fully happy then she has to become a vampire...
Surely if Rosalie was human when she fell in love with Emmett and he was a vampire she make the same choice?
